Who we are...

Junior Neighbourhood watch is a fun and informative after school club. The scheme is designed to teach the children important safety advice which they can pass on to their families and friends. These lessons are delivered by our emergency services who visit the children on a regular basis. The children also go out to visit the emergency services at their place of work. This helps them to understand the problems and dangers our teams face while out on duty. We hope that by introducing these “positive role models” the children will feel happy to approach them for help or advice.

Junior Neighbourhood WatchOur focus is to bring back good old community spirit. Children can help make their communities safer and take pride in helping others. Overall we encourage them to be kind and considerate citizens and show them that they can solve problems in their area by working together.

Any child can be part of this scheme, we have lots of links that will give them fun activities to do and lots of safety advice to follow. We will also be running a “Star of the month” award for the best poster or poem.

For any help and advice in setting up a Junior Neighbourhood watch group please contact Sam Gibbons on 07976 303039.
